Catholic Men • Strength • Discipline

Build mass.
Attend Mass.

Mass and Mass is a movement for Catholic men: train your body, order your Sunday, and show up for Mass with discipline and reverence.

“Be watchful, stand firm in your faith, be courageous, be strong.” 1 Corinthians 16:13
The mission

A manly Sunday for Catholic men

This is a simple rule: lift first, then go to Mass. Not vanity. Not self-optimization. Discipline, stewardship, and worship.

What is Mass and Mass?

A movement aimed at getting Catholic men to attend the gym to build mass and attend Mass every Sunday.

“Be watchful, stand firm in your faith, be courageous, be strong.”

1 Corinthians 16:13
The practice

Keep it simple and repeat it weekly

Every Sunday, train for at least one hour before going to Mass. Bring a change of clothes and use the showers at your gym before you leave.

01

Train

Hit the gym for at least an hour. Lift with focus and without distraction.

02

Prepare

Shower, change, and arrive with the composure that worship deserves.

03

Attend Mass

Go to Mass every Sunday. The discipline of the morning ends at the end of Mass.

Sunday example
7:30 AM
Arrive at the gym

Warm up, train hard, and keep the hour intentional.

8:30 AM
Shower and change

Transition cleanly from building mass to attending Mass.

9:00 AM
Go to Mass

Arrive early, pray well, and keep the Lord’s Day ordered.

This Sunday

Stand firm in your faith. Be strong.

One hour in the gym. Then Mass. Keep the rule and return next Sunday.
